En 1974, GAF présenta simultanément les 100 XF et 200 XF lors de la Photokina. Le 100 XF est un modèle simple, doté d'un objectif en verre, à vitesse unique.
En 1976, GAF présenta à Chicago une version de ce 100 XF aux couleurs de Mickey Mouse.
